Programming Distribution - VacuOhm Contacts and membership
Since the creation of its own label, OHM éditions, in 1994, Avatar has made artists' creations known through the national and international networks media art. Avatar has published productions by renowned artists such as Pierre-André Arcand, Chantal Dumas, Paul Dutton, John Oswald and Michael Snow. The significant amount of publications produced and coproduced by OHM éditions shows Avatar's effectiveness in pursuing its independent editing mandate. The works are distributed by VacuOhm, another Avatar entity dedicated to the development of a distribution network. By the dissemination of works using adapted media (CD, DVD, CD-ROM, CD-video or paper), OHM éditions and VacuOhm meet the specific dissemination needs of audio and electronic art.
